This Privacy Policy explains how AI Ready: Agent SEO Optimizer (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects merchant information when merchants install and use the App through Shopify.

1. Information we collect

To provide the App functionality, we may process the following data:

  • Store and account identifiers, such as shop domain and Shopify session identifiers.
  • Product data, including product title, handle, description, tags, and selected metafields.
  • App usage and operational data, such as optimization requests, schedule settings, and error logs.

2. How we use merchant data

We use the data strictly to provide and improve the App, including:

  • Auditing product content for AI discoverability.
  • Generating optimization suggestions for product descriptions, tags, and metafields.
  • Saving merchant-selected optimization schedules.
  • Supporting app reliability, security, and troubleshooting.

3. AI processing

To generate optimization content, selected product data may be sent to our AI service provider (OpenAI). We send only the data needed to perform the requested optimization workflow.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell merchant data.

We may share data only with trusted subprocessors required to operate the App infrastructure (for example, hosting, database, and AI providers), and only for purposes described in this policy.

5. Data retention

We retain data only as long as needed to provide the App and comply with legal obligations. If the App is uninstalled, associated data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, unless longer retention is required by law.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect merchant data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

7. Merchant rights and choices

Merchants can request access, correction, or deletion of their data by contacting us using the details below.

8. International processing

Merchant data may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. We use reasonable safeguards for cross-border processing.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material updates will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
